How to invoke
Section titled “How to invoke”/t1k:marketing:iaa:ux-patternsUX Patterns for Ads
Section titled “UX Patterns for Ads”UX Patterns for Ads helps designers and monetization PMs build ad touchpoints that feel respectful and integrated rather than interruptive. The way an ad is surfaced — its CTA copy, loading state communication, opt-in flow, and post-ad reward animation — directly affects opt-in rate and player sentiment. This skill covers opt-in rewarded video flows, “double rewarded” mechanics, ad-card UI patterns, loading indicators, and platform-compliance guardrails (App Store / Google Play policies).
When to Use
Section titled “When to Use”- Designing the first rewarded video CTA button and flow for a new game
- Auditing ad touchpoints that have low opt-in rate despite correct placement triggers
- Implementing a “double rewarded” mechanic or “watch to continue” flow without violating store policy
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”This skill resolves the UX and UI design of ad touchpoints — how ads are surfaced to the player, not which ads run or how the mediation stack works. It is used by product designers, UX leads, and monetization PMs. It supports decisions about CTA copy and placement, loading-state communication to reduce abandonment, compliance with Apple and Google ad UX policies, and reward animation design. It does NOT cover ad format selection, frequency capping, or network configuration — those belong to their respective sibling skills.
Status
Section titled “Status”Stub — deepen iteratively via /t1k:sync-back as real usage drives priority. Priority sources for when deepening: brainstorm opt-in flow patterns, double-rewarded mechanic examples, store policy compliance checklist.
