Context Budget Handoff — On the Frame, Land and Roll

On [t1k:context-budget pct=NN handoff=due], land the current unit and roll the session. The frame IS the instruction — do not ask, and do not start anything new.

  1. COMMIT the current unit (pathspec form) — an uncommitted tree does not survive the roll.
  2. /t1k:handoff save — the handoff + resume sentinel carries the work over.
  3. Roll — t1k session roll, else /clear and let the sentinel re-inject.

No new feature, no new investigation, no “one more file”. A re-fired frame is not new information — step 1 is unfinished. Mid-tool-call, finish that call first.

Inert when features.contextBudget: false / T1K_SKIP_CONTEXT_BUDGET=1; threshold contextBudget.thresholdPercent (default 60) — flat and session-wide, deliberately NOT the sub-agent checkpoint’s window-relative ceiling.
